Minor Offences And DBS Checks: An Infographic

minor offences

As you can see, 54% of Britons believe that ex-criminals shouldn’t have minor convictions filtered from a DBS Check.

Only 36% of West Midlands residents surveyed thought offences should be filtered, as opposed to 57% of Londoners.

And breaking it down by industry is a real eye opener. Just 13% of workers in the financial sector believe minor convictions should be filtered from an employee’s DBS Check. In comparison, 59% of workers in the legal sector believed these results should be filtered.
