How do we measure results?
To weed out any outliers, we cut out the top and bottom 5% of our results. This gives us a trimmed mean between 5-95%, which works out as a more consistent average.

What happens if my check falls outside of the average?
We do our best to get everyone’s results back to them as quickly as possible. But sometimes there may be incorrect, inconsistent, or missing information that needs to be double checked. In these cases, it may take longer to get your DBS results back to you – or you might have to redo your check with the correct details.

How are uCheck’s turnaround times faster than national averages?
We stick to our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and make sure that all of our applications are reviewed within one hour of being sent to us. And we’re immensely proud to say that we have an average countersign time of less than 20 minutes.
Some of our processes that would normally chew into our turnaround time have been automated, meaning we can keep processing applications outside of working hours and over the weekends. This is a totally optional system, but it helps us process and return checks as quickly and efficiently as possible.
