uCheck is delighted to announce our involvement as a founding member of the Association of RecTech Providers (ARTP). The ARTP brings together leading recruitment technology (RecTech) providers, supported by both the UK Government and the Better Hiring Institute, to influence best hiring practices, policies, and technology standards.
Due to launch on the 23 September 2025 in the Houses of Parliament, the ARTP will focus on key areas of safe recruitment practices, such as the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), screening platforms, and the use of AI in hiring tools. Together, the Association aims to influence government guidelines to help improve industry standards.
uCheck’s involvement grants us a direct channel to government and industry feedback, enabling us to better serve our customers and keep them informed of changes the moment they’re introduced.
uCheck’s Managing Director, Jack Price, and a representative from TrustID will attend the event, hosted in The Churchill Room in the Houses of Parliament.
Jack Price had this to say:
“As the UK’s largest provider of DBS checks, supporting over 40,000 customers, uCheck is proud to be a founding member of the ARTP. uCheck’s commitment to engaging with the DBS and government stakeholders ensures that our customers’ voices are heard and that we remain at the forefront of shaping and improving DBS regulation and guidance.
As part of the Better Hiring Institute, the ARTP offers us unique opportunities to work directly with policymakers and industry leaders to drive positive change for our customers and the wider hiring community. I look forward to working closely with the ARTP, government, and industry partners to make a real impact.”
