As of 1st September 2020 uCheck have commenced a merger exercise with online DBS Check services CRBS (Criminal Record & Barring Service) and CRB-checkonline.
If you want to know more about this merger or are joining us from CRBS we’ve created this short blog to answer any questions you may have.
How does this work?
- The merger exercise will start from 1st September – any client registered with CRBS will become a client of uCheck
- The CRBS and CRB-checkonline websites will be accessible until 1st October, after which their content will be merged into the uCheck site
I’m a current client of CRBS. What’s going to change?
There’s no need to worry if you’re currently using CRBS – the merger with uCheck means that you will be using the exact same online platform as you were before, just at a cheaper cost.
These reduced DBS Check fees are as follows:
- Basic Disclosure:
- DBS Fee – £23
- uCheck Fee – £10.40
- Total = £33.40 inc VAT
- Standard Disclosure:
- DBS Fee – £23
- uCheck Fee – £10.40
- Total = £33.40 inc VAT
- Enhanced Disclosure:
- DBS Fee – £40
- uCheck Fee – £10.40
- Total = £50.40 inc VAT
Once your account is registered with uCheck, your new login details will be issued via email. You can then access the site via the uCheck login page.
As well as Basic, Standard and Enhanced DBS Checks, uCheck also process a number of other optional checks needed for screening job applicants and employees, including:
- Right to Work Checks
- Adverse Credit checks
- Identity checks
